If you have ever experienced trying to set a blog up, or set up a website to make money, then the odds are you’ve heard the term ‘keywords’. Many time there seems to be a mystique around keywords, as to what they are, and their importance.
Keywords are nothing but terms used by people when they search online using a search engine. They type in what they’re looking for. Then the search engine will deliver them a page full of links to choose from, so they can get the information they’re after, and these results are based on the keywords.
Logic says that if you want to get to the top of that list, you need good keywords that will draw in the results. It’s estimated that the majority of people won’t look past the top three pages of the results, usually not even two.
The majority of people will only see the first page of the results. This brings us to another point. SEO covers two areas – the way search engines work to find your site, and the way keywords factor into the equation.
